  12. Sorry, I repeat this post because of my mistake in previous one...

  14. I have a problem with new Sportster Vi DSVD 28800. It seems
  15. that adaptive answer in my modem is not working properly:

  18. Modem:   OK
  19. Me: -- > AT+FCLASS=2.0
  20. Modem:   OK
  21. Me: -- > AT+FAA=1  <-- Here was a mistake in my original posting, sorry...
  22. Modem:   OK
  23. Me: -- > ATA
  24. Modem:   waits 18 second and only after that it answers, but these answer
  25.          tones (that must be data answer and then fax answer) are VERY 
  26.          strange.

  28. As a result, I can not connect to this modem from outside while it is in
  29. adaptive answer mode.

  31. Does anybody have the same problem with Sportster Vi DSVD ?
  32. Any ideas? Defective modem or bugs in the flash rom code?
